Wrap your arms around meI felt the earthI felt the timeThe sky was blueCome, normalizeThen I got the urge for penetrationWhen we meetWrap your arms around meTell me all those things you haven't told meIn the crowdI'll find youOn your lapel there's a red carnationAll the things that's left to doFeel love and build a house with youAnd free the unborn child at the castleWrap your arms around meWrap your arms around meWrap your arms around meWrap your arms around me(Free the unborn child at the castle). My Interpretationi think this speaks about the gender role and identity of a woman in society.the word 'normalize' is used to describe what happens when a woman settles down, falls in love, becomes a wife and starts a family.' I felt the earth/I felt the time' refers to that societal ideal of when one should do all those things.' In the crowd/I'll find you/On your lapel there's a red carnation' i think refers to the groom. To me, it seems as though the entire song is a transition. In the beginning she is feeling the signs around her pointing at domestication, then 'i got the urge for penetration.' I think that is a reference to the bachelor/bachelorette/casual sex mindset and then the transition happens when they meet and now the song starts talking about falling in love, building a house and having a baby.
